Frequently
Asked Questions
Here
we have compiled a list of the questions most often asked by our clients.
If you do not find your answers here however, please feel free to drop
us an email and we would
be happy to help you in any way we can. Happy bouncing!
What is the
difference between a bouncer, moonwalk, moonbounce, spacewalk, or inflatable?
Nothing! All of these
terms refer to your basic inflatable bouncing amusement we have all grown
up with. It just depends on where you hail from. They are all loads of
fun and a great addition to any party or celebration. (of course we're
just a bit biased..)
How do I go
about reserving an inflatable from you?
You can make your
reservation by calling us at 850-933-3357 8 am to 7pm
7 days a week or you can inquire about availability by email at dbbarneso@yahoo.com .
How can I pay
for my rental?
We offer a lot of flexibility in payment methods. We gladly accept
cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover via PayPal..
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $40 deposit is required for every $200 of equipment reserved.
When do I pay the remaining balance?
Payment is due at time of delivery of the unit(s). If you are paying by credit card, please let us know in advance so that we may process your card the morning of your party.
How much room
do I need?
You will need to add at least
2 feet around the perimeter, so approximately 17' x 17' for a 15' x 15'
bouncer. If you're not sure what size your yard is, you can measure it
or "walk it off" heel to toe in a man's shoe (it'll be about
1 foot per step) to approximate. If you can imagine two parked cars side
by side in your set up area, most likely we can fit the unit in that area.
Don't forget your vertical clearance! You'll need an area free of low
wires and branches, about 16-17 feet high.
How much room
do you need to bring the bouncer in?
A standard walk through gate
is fine. We bring the unit rolled up and wheel it in on a standard hand
truck (dolly). If a person can comfortably walk through, we can fit the
bouncer through too!
How many children
can fit in a bouncer?
Generally speaking, between 5 and 7 kids at one time. This really
depends on the size of the children and activities planned.
Are your units
safe? Will you teach me how to have a safe day of fun?
Yes, they are designed from the ground up with safety in mind.
In addition, we review all safety rules with you prior to use. While no
one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use
of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun, not hospital visits.
How much does
it cost?
Pricing is subject to change at any time. We try to keep our
prices as reasonable as possible. For current pricing check our pricing
page.
Are the bouncers
clean?
Yes. All 3Ds Bouncers units are thoroughly cleaned between
each use. We are committed to making sure that your children have a clean,
healthy, and safe environment in which to play. In addition to cleaning,
we also safety check and troubleshoot all equipment before it goes out
to each client. This way, you are always guaranteed a unit that is safe,
clean and in good working order.
It's pretty hot outside.
Does it get hot inside the inflatables?
Actually, it stays very comfortable inside the equipment. The
moonwalks lose air with every bounce (that is what makes them bouncy-
the loss and refilling of air!) so it is usually breezy and cool inside.
Plus, each moonwalk has a roof that shades the bounce area. This applies
to most of the year however afternoons in the middle of the summer are
not recommended unless the setup area is shaded. During these months we
recommend an evening "Bounce" under the stars or an earlier morning
rental.
What if it rains?
We do not operate
our moonwalks in high winds or rain. If recent weather has caused the
bounce area to become muddy, you will need to locate an alternate location.
Safety is our first concern.
If your event may be cancelled due to weather, you will be called 2 hours
in advance. You may cancel at this time and receive a refund of your deposit.
Please see our Refund Policy for more information.
What are the appropriate
ages for bouncing?
Ages 2-12 years. Some older teenager parties are permissible;
call or e-mail for details if you're not sure.
Do you deliver to my area?
3Ds Bouncers serves all of the
Big Bend Tallahassee Vicinity including Tallahassee, Florida, Quincy, Wakulla, Crawfordville, Havana, Maddison, and Sopchopy, with no
delivery charges!. We can deliver beyond these areas, however a delivery charge may apply.
Do you set up in parks?
Yes we do! The Leon County area offers many beautiful parks for
parties and special occasions. You will need to verify in advance though,
whether the parks have any limitations on inflatables and make sure power
is available and is within 75' of your proposed location.
What if there is no power?
No problem. We can also provide a small power generator to run
the blower for your moonwalk. (There will be an additional charge for
this rental. Give us a call for details.)
My yard slopes a bit- will
that be OK?
Yes. A slight slope
is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at
the top of any slope. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be
able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate
location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the
most important consideration when selecting a setup area.
Does it need electricity?
How much does it use?
Yes. We will bring a 50 or 100 foot extension cord with us, so
you'll need an outlet near the set up area. The blower runs continuously
and uses approximately $0.14 of electricity per hour. Your blow dryer
uses more than that! NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before
delivery.
Does 3Ds'Bouncers supply balls for the bouncers that come with basketball hoops?
No, you must provide your own small, soft playground balls to use with the basketball hoops.
Do I supply the hose and
water for the slide?
Yes, you will need
to supply a hose long enough to reach the slide from your water faucet.
What are the requirements for setting up the Dunk Tank?
You will need at least a 9 foot square area on grass or concrete that is within 100 feet of a water source. You will be responsible for providing the water necessary for filling the tank.
What time do you deliver
and pickup the bouncer?
Rental periods vary. The typical range of rental time is 4 or
5 hours to all day (7 or 8 hours). You decide on the specific time you
want the bouncer set up by and we'll have the equipment set up between
30 minutes and 2 hours before that start time. Also, you do not pay for
our set up time, all rental periods are jumping time only! Pick up is
based on the number of hours you rent for. If you have special requirements
for an exact setup or pick up time, (for example, your event is in a location
that you have rented for a specific amount of time) let us know.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open from 8am to 7pm weekdays. Our customer support
lines are open continually on the weekends. If you happen to get voicemail
at any time, please leave your name and number and we will get back to
you as soon as possible. Our curfews for picking up are generally 8 pm.
How far in advance do I need
to order?
We suggest 3-5 weeks before your scheduled party date. However,
we generally have inventory available for last minute bookings, if you
are not too picky about style preference. All units are booked on a first
come first served basis.
My party is tomorrow. Can
I still get a rental?
Maybe! Give us a call
and we will try to work it in.
Is it cheaper if we pickup
the bouncer ourselves?
No. In fact, 3Ds'Bouncers does not allow for this. All of
our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by
3D's Bouncers to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our
insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well.
Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.
How much ice do I need for
the Snow Cone Machine?
We recommend 1/2 pound
of ice per serving. For example, if you are making 50 servings you will
need approximately 25 pounds of ice.
